Tuckahoe High School officials received word that the district has been awarded nearly $100,000 in grant funding after being designated as Reward School by the New York State Education Department in consecutive years. Members of the State Education Department took a trip to Tuckahoe last week after Principal Bart Linehan requested state funding based on student performance after the school was once again designated as a Reward School in August for the third straight year, ranking it amongst the top schools in New York.
