Westchester Man Sentenced To Prison For Sexually Assaulting 4-Year-Old

A New Rochelle man has been sentenced to more than a decade in prison after pleading guilty to molesting a child in his care at a Tuckahoe daycare facility where he was employed last year. On Tuesday, acting Westchester County District Attorney James McCarty announced that Isaac McKnight, 24, has been sentenced to 12 years in state prison after pleading guilty to a charge of committing a first-degree criminal sexual act - which is classified as a violent felony - for his role in assaulting a 4-year-old child last year.

Westchester County Restaurants 'Stick A Fork in Cancer'

Residents can help raise funds to fight cancer, when restaurants in Bronxville, Tuckahoe and Eastchester take part in the Stick a Fork in Cancer promotion on Thursday, May 5. During the event, restaurant owners will donate 10 percent of their proceeds to support the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life initiative. Local residents can support the effort simply by dining out at any participating restaurant.

Tuckahoe Tigers Cheerleaders Continue National Championship Celebration

The Tuckahoe Tiger cheerleading squad was once again in the spotlight this week, as local officials heaped praise on what is believed to be the village's first national championship team in any sport. In just their second year competing in at Walt Disney World at the National High School Cheerleading Championship in Florida, the Tigers shook off last year's fifth place finish - earning top honors amongst the nation's top 20 teams en route to a gold medal in the Senior Rec Division in Orlando.
