Stuff A Backpack In Eastchester To Benefit Students In Need

YONKERS, N.Y. With the beginning of the academic year just weeks away, ANDRUS Early Learning Center, which has locations in Yonkers and Tuckahoe, is helping to supply students in need with backpacks chock full of school supplies. As part of the "ANDRUS Backpack Bonanza for Children," schools officials have been busy collecting everything that students from kindergarten through ninth grade that may be in need to outfit them for the new school year.

Assemblywoman Amy Paulin Announces Grants For Library Upgrades

New York State Assemblywoman Amy Paulin is pleased to announce that four libraries in her district will receive in excess of $200,000 as part of the New York State Department of Education's Library Construction Grant program. The libraries in Pelham, Tuckahoe, New Rochelle and Eastchester will receive funds for improvements ranging from new roofing and elevators to lighting.

Broken Bow Brewery To Celebrate Second Anniversary In Tuckahoe

Tuckahoe Man Charged With Cashing Same Check Twice

Tuckahoe resident Kevin Moultrie, Jr., was arrested on charges of fourth-degree grand larceny after trying to cash the same check twice. TUCKAHOE, N.Y. A 21-year old Tuckahoe man was arrested on Thursday after allegedly trying to cash a check twice from two separate businesses, the New York State Police reported.
