Eastchester Public Schools Offer Summer History Camp

The camp is a one-week session that allows motivated students to explore topics of interest about the history of the town through local guest speakers, historical re-enactors, local field trips, newly discovered documents, video clips, DVDs, and hands on activities. Students will experience first hand what it was like to live during Colonial times, fight in the American Revolution and Civil War, attend a one-room school house in 1835, survive the Spanish Flu and the Great Depression, and work in the Tuckahoe marble quarries.
