Voters in Tuckahoe narrowly voted against a $20 million bond referendum that would have addressed an expected increase in enrollment. The Tuckahoe Board of Education had proposed a $20,531,500 bond that would "address the district's current facility needs and educational goals, growing enrollment, 21st Century learning, infrastructure and security upgrades."
